My passion is for art, the arts and crafts movement and country house interiors. I source items that are made from good quality materials, well made, attractive and will last many generations and occasionally with assistance from professional restorers help items return to the state they were when first made. My father and Grandfather were antique dealers and after leaving the RN in 1984 I had four years in the 1980's as a full time antique dealer then spent decades working for others gazing out of windows with the hope of returning to the antique business and finally started Graham Deakin Antiques at the end of 2024.

Arts and Crafts oak and copper Firescreen with shaped top and finials on top of side rails, supported by gothic bracket feet joined by a shaped stretcher. The copper panel of a peacock is similar to designs by John Pearson and John Williams. All in good original condition with signs of age related wear.
